David Dauphin Memorial Fund

Purpose: To fund activities that introduces and develops birding and nature appreciation and knowledge among the youth of Liberty and the surrounding counties. Managed by the LTVBC David Dauphin (1946-2015): David was a passionate and extremely knowledgeable birder and naturalist. Also, he was a gifted teacher who was able to instruct in a way so as not to embarrass the misinformed.  

 

David was instrumental in the formation of the Lower Trinity Valley Bird Club and the Friends of the Trinity River Refuge.  David and Jan, his wife, were generous in all ways as they shared their time and talents with many in Liberty County.
